" I enjoyed staying at the holt however it is not as social as other halls so I found it hard to make friends. The acc ideation itself is perfect though with parking spaces but they are expensive to buy so I did not "

" The Holt was a really good for first year, a short 10 minute walk to my lectures and to nights out at the SU. It's a shame that it is located outside of the main student village in the centre of campus, which in my opinion is better for first years as the majority of halls are located there. The parking is very expensive at the Holt as well, which prevented me from bringing my car in first year. The committee made freshers a great experience as well and were very welcoming in the first few weeks. "

" Staff are very accommodating, the place is a very safe place to live. They put on student friendly events, I would recommend for all future students to ensure they get involved in.
The kitchen facilities is large enough for all residents. "

" Off campus and 8 minute walk to main lecture halls. The standard rooms are very small, although you can get larger more expensive rooms which are pretty huge in general, they do fluctuate though. The windows are quite small so not a huge amount of natural light. Its quite cosy compared to the other halls, and they always do events like quiz nights in pubs and international food events, so its more personal then the other halls. Its quite far from town, and the nearest food shop is quite a trek so if you come here get home delivery. My biggest complaint is the launderette facility, 4 washing machines for 300 students, you've got to be kidding. "
