" Very good accomidation for first year undergraduates. Could do with slightly larger storage for food and nore powerful showers. Fairly spacious and very easy to get to know the other students around. Wi-Fi is good enough and security should lighten up a bit but everything is fairly good. "

" Great place to live for first years who aren’t really too bothered about the quality of living space provided. The whole atmosphere in Corrib village is great and it’s nice to have all your friends just a 2 minute walk away. The location is ideal for those involved in sports because it’s so close to Dangan. These factors make up for the fact that the place is basically a shithole and some of the staff are quite rude. "

" Corrib Village is grossly overpriced and you are charged so much for heating and electricity even if it isnt you using it. It’s in a very convenient location being on campus, the security make this place feel very safe. The shop is very expensive. It is absolutely Baltic here all year round mostly bar the odd day here or there where we get sun which is rare in Galway. It’s a great place to make friends especially with or through your housemates. Corrib is honestly where I feel we get truely done out of our money and used by the system in all honesty. But look what can you do really but just live with it. "

" I selected "Yes" I would recommend living here. But that is only for 1st year students. This is essentially where the majority of 1st years live. I started out in Digs for my first semester at NUIG. I moved into Corrib Village in 2nd semester. I was put into an apartment with international students who were all older than me. I felt a bit isolated at times and felt I was missing out on the typical fresher experience at times. So if you're going to move in here I'd recommend stating on your application the preferred students you'd like to live with. Security was a bit over the top at times and often made it different if you were bringing guests over after 9pm (I think this was the cut off time for guests coming in). It village is right beside the college so you're pretty much living on campus. "
