" Pretty high quality living space. Fairly small rooms but much better than other options. Close to dining hall and walkable distance from campus. Good spot to live if you have roomates you like spending time with. "

" I definitely liked East Village but it was difficult to meet people mainly because of Covid. There were no kitchens for freshman so that point is not applicable. This dorm is in the middle of campus, right near the main quad, so it is in a perfect location. "

" Great place to live. Elevators suck but great community with air conditioner. The rooms are somewhat small and if you are below the 7th floor, you have a 50% chance of having a wall of the YMCA as your view. The rooms are nice overall though. "

" Not really a fan of sharing a VERY small room with another person so this was not the building for me. The rooms did have a personal bathroom shared with 4 people, but was WAY over priced for what it was. "

" I lived in East Village during my freshman year at the university. I was selected to live in that hall because I was part of the Honors Program's incoming class of freshmen for the 2017-2018 school year. So, the building has almost exclusively been a dorm for students in the Honors Program. I enjoyed living in a semi-private suite with three others because we had our own bathroom, which separated our two rooms. Though it was a hassle to get everyone to clean the bathroom when it was their time to do so, I highly appreciated not having to use communal bathrooms and have the autonomy of caring for my own space so early on in college. Because of the building's height and location relative to other areas in Boston, the views from the 12th through 17th floors were absolutely gorgeous. We were also in the middle of three MBTA subway stops: two for the Green Line on Huntington Avenue and one for the Orange Line on Massachusetts Avenue. This was highly convenient for making trips to downtown, especially if I needed to catch a bus back home. East Village is also close enough to the nearest dining halls, Stetson East and Stetson West, that I could just dash over in under five mimutes to get some food with floormates with no worries. The university doesn't allow for people to use the stairwells in the building and only let us use the elevators, except in cases of emergencies whem the alarms of the stairs are shit off. Thus, travelling up, down, and out of the building became highly inconvenient during peak transition periods and when tour groups took over two to three of the available four elevators. "
