" Magnificent student accommodation, honestly the best I've stayed at in Newcastle. The staff are friendly, they put on occasional events with free pizza and beer which are brilliant places to meet new people - I made some awesome friends at those. About 50% international students which makes it such a cool place to be, and everything is clean all the time. The common room is great with a pool table, pingpong table and big outside chess board. It also has a legitimate mini-cinema with proper cinema seats, darkness blinds and an awesome projector and sound system - didn't use it much but whenever we did it's a blast, it was always available when I went in and it's free to use whenever. The staff are great too and so friendly, loads of little perks unblocking drains is done for free whenever and they gave me a free toilet brush when I asked to borrow one. By far the best thing is the location, I lived 30 minutes out of the town centre my first two years. Don't underestimate how much time you save and energy you have when you're 5 mins out of town centre - I could decide to go shopping or to the free art gallery nearby and be there in 5 mins. The location is great. Best decision I made in third year was to come and live here, sounds like an ad but it's that good. IQ also decided to completely cancel the third semester of payments because of Coronavirus disruptions, which saved me £1500. It's slightly on the expensive end but worth every penny, and it's still cheaper than Trinity Square and some other accommodations. Btw the bronze accommodation is about as good as the silver/gold so just go for the cheapest option. "
