" A very social accommodation however it really needed decorating as some of the kitchen ceiling was falling down and only had a very small window and there wasn’t enough ventilation. The rooms are very small however there is a lot of storage space. The carpet definitely needs changing however "

" Great halls for a social life and located extremely close to the university and city centre. You do share a kitchen with 12 people which can be messy and difficult but the large numbers was great for a sociable freshers year. "

" I have mixed opinions about this place. I don't regret moving there and I many memories as well as friends. However, for the whole year I lived there I was extremely anxious and uncomfortable. there are too many people in the flat, which may be good during freshers but horrible when uni starts to get serious from January. the best thing is its location. the rooms are tiny and the walls are extremely thin. " Sandby is a excellent place to stay with a great sociable atmosphere considering there are over 20 people across every corridor. Would recommend to future students as it has everything you need to enjoy your time at NTU. "

" The common room was really big and good for socialising. However, sharing the flat with a lot of people, which is not always easy. But the common areas were clean most of the time. The fridge was nearly always overstuffed. "
