" Living in NRH has been fun but I would not do this for a second year. My room is considered one of the nicer ones meaning it has hard wood floors and is fairly spacious compared to other rooms, it is a standard double. Moving in, there was a desk, a bed with a mattress, shelving in the closet, a drawer and a microwave and fridge provided for us which was nice. There is also air conditioning. However the floors were pretty gross looking like they haven’t been vacuumed for a while which was a bit unsettling. It is silly because within the same hallway, not all the rooms are the same, some have carpet, some have different layouts. I am not sure why this is and what the reason behind it is. For my hall there is a communal bathroom which includes two shower stalls and two bathroom stalls. They are pretty nice and private, just a standard bathroom. Overall my building is 8 floors and I live on the 4th which is nice because if I don’t want to wait on the elevator it is a good distance to walk up and down the stairs. I would recommend NRH over any other dorm building. "

" It's an average college dorm. The only thing special about it are the specialty interest floors. Those floors can get really loud, so living on one of the neighboring floors can be obnoxious. The dorm itself is very conveniently located. There is a convenience store and post office in the basement, the laundry is nearby, and the building is at a reasonable distance from all the freshman dining locations. "

" This res hall is overall pretty decent. Spacious lounge and bathrooms for what they are. I was on the first floor in a forced triple, and while 3 people in a 2 person room was not the greatest, being on the 1st floor was great. Not as stuffy as the tall res halls, though it didn't have air conditioning. The cleanliness issues I had were mainly due to other residents. "

" This dorm has A/C so it is better than some others. The special interest houses keep things exciting but I would not recommend them unless you are truly truly all about that certain interest. It kinda narrows your friend group early on. "

" Average dorm. The rooms were small but did have air conditioning. The lounges had the bare minimum furniture and only had a sink and microwave for food prep. There were a few shared bathrooms in the corridors on each floor, plus a couple of single-person handicap-accessible bathrooms, too. "
