" McFarlane Hall has received renovations since I've lived there but it is a place where Freshman live on-campus. There are things called Living Learning Communities (LLCs) where students with similar majors live together. McFarlane Hall had Biology, Psychology, Earth Science students living together. The rooms are two-person rooms and the bathrooms are community bathrooms. There are lounge spaces for cooking, watching TV, and other things. There is also washer/driers in the hall free to use. "
