" I enjoyed living in the student village - it had a shop, laundry service, pub and free parking. The parking was one of the main benefits as you are not allowed to park on campus which means that if you lived on campus you either couldn't take your care (which makes food shopping very difficult as tesco is approximately 30 minutes walk) or you have to park on the streets surrounding the university (which is very difficult as most of it is permit only and the rest is usually already taken as it is a very busy area with the beach and the university). The main negative is being off campus so having to either drive (and still park at least 5 minutes away from the university), walk 40 minutes to campus or wait in an enormous queue for the bus "

" It's Incredibly fun to live here, it's perfect for freshers.
Although it is far away from the city centre and campus, bus routes are good though.
I lived here in 2014, it has changed a lot.
Staff are awesome and we were well taken care of.
I have amazing memories here "

" You get what you pay for... the accomodation is quite old and rundown but everything works and the maintenance team are quick at fixing any problems. Short bus ride into Singleton campus. The social life is good as the accomodation is a lot smaller buildings than on campus, you will get to know a lot of people in your building and the ones around, also meet people on the buses into uni or into town on a night out. " HSV provided me with the best experience of my life, hanging out in other people's rooms all day, with a close-knit community feel to it. Many of my first experiences with something happened inside my room there, and it was an amazing first place to live and gives you a real feel for the university life style. "
