" Again, expensive to live here, but there are plenty of social activities organised by the staff and they were very helpful getting me settled in with my diabetes. For Freshers, this is a good place to make friends as you often find yourself socialising with your flatmates, and there's a coop across the road for emergency snacks. Staff come and clean the kitchen and shared bathroom weekly, and the walls of your room are soundproof so unless someone is standing right outside your door, no one can hear what you are doing or vice versa. Also the rooms are purple, which is a plus. However, the washing machines in the laundry rooms are priced at £2.50 per use, the tumble dryers at £1.50, which adds up in cost very quickly. Overall, this is a good place to spend your first year, but I would recommend trying to find private accommodation in your subsequent studying years, as you will save so much money. "
