 " Accommodation in Edinburgh is very expensive I cannot stress this enough You will need a part time job and most likely help from you parents even if you have a student loan. I highly recommend renting from the university instead of private landlords for this reason "

 " Halls were fantastic as a whole but unfortunately very expensive and elitist. I do not recommend going into halls if you are not privately educated for I noticed several state educated students being excluded or bullied "

 " Nice place with good canteen. I appreciate the room space and environment there. Good to make new friends and relax and study. There is also a micro lab for studying which is good for me. Canteen food is also nice with a range of selections. "

 " Holland House was a great place to live as a fresher. Close by to almost all university campuses and was great to meet fellow freshers and start your social life within University. I would highly recommend this place to freshers so they can enjoy a great social life within their first year of Uni while also having their private space if they desire it. "

 " A good place to live.  It had spotty Wifi but nothing too bad, could always go elsewhere out of my room to get it perfectly fine. It was a good place for socializing and seemed very safe. The room had adequate study space and was big enough for me. "
