" I lived in deaconess for almost 1 year. The location is really good, there are many supermarkets nearby, such as Tesco, Sainsbury, Lidl and the Chinese Super League. Therefore, it's really convenient for students to buy food. The cleaner comes to clean the bathroom and kitchen every week. The thing in deaconess that dissatisfies me most is that the internet quality is very poor. "

" Nice modern accomodation however room space and kitchen space varies wildly which is unfair when everyone is paying the same space- my room only had one tiny window whereas my flatmate nextdoor had 2 giant ones! Our kitchen was tiny compared to the majority of kitchens in the site. "

" One thing to note about Edinburgh is all of the buildings have mice problems, so you must be extra careful not to leave food out and set appropriate traps. We had mice through all our flats here but coming in as a fresher, the mice were a big shock and the accommodation did not do much to help the issue. It was a good place to live however, and the halls were nice and near to campus. "
