" I have enjoyed living in Maclay, but I think the price is unreasonable for the quality of living. Meaning, I would say it is a pretty standard student accommodation, but I think it's way overpriced. The area is safe, grocery stores are within walking distance, and it's a short decent walk to campus. There are lots of restaurants, pubs, mini shops, etc. within a short walking distance. As well, the Kelvinhall subway stop and the Partick train stop are both only a 15 minute walk away. An ideal place to live location wise, but financially not the best. "

" Maclay was a great place to live and meet other postgrads. It was a quiet location and very close to Argyle Street which has loads of shops. About a 15-20 minute walk to Uni through the Kelvingrove Park. "
