" Parkwood houses are Kent's 'budget' accommodation, so I possibly haven't reviewed the facilities so highly as I might other accommodations, but the value for money is 100% worth it. The facilities might not be so modern as other places and you have to share two bathrooms, but the walk to campus is really beautiful, through a woods, and it is that little bit removed from campus that means you get a lot more peace. I was also benefitted by the fact that I got along with all my housemates and therefore did not have any problem with my social life, but I would say it is a good place to be if you want to socialise or if you prefer just spending time in your room. "

" Horrible house. Showers were poor and we shared 2 showers between 6 of us (mixed boys and girls). Campus security never took noise complaints seriously enough and most of all, our heating and electrical barely ever worked, massively overpriced! Rosie "

" Parkwood houses are quiet as they are the furthest away from campus, which can be a good or bad thing depending on what kind of person you are. Overall, the facilities have just been rebuilt and offer a much nicer common area/ shop/ restaurant than before. A lot of people dont like parkwood but I lived there 2 years and thought it was just fine. "
