" Woolf is a good place to live if you want to make friends and have easy access to the social scene on campus, and a convenient crash pad between modules. It's nice to be surrounded by other postgraduate students, to have things like maintenance and a weekly kitchen clean taken care of, and to have a private ensuite bathroom. It's by far not the most cost-effective housing option in the community, however, and the management company UPP is not the most respectful of privacy (shared mail area, maintenance staff frequently entering rooms unannounced, etc.). The kitchens of larger flats (up to 8 residents) also become very crowded, especially those that have been remodelled poorly to have severely inadequate refrigerator space (and the limited cupboard space can cause tension with flatmates). UPP isn't very responsive to this type of issue. "

" This accommodation was modern and all furnished. Cleaners regularly clean the shared kitchen which helps a lot to stay in the shared accommodation. The location was great because it is close to the library and many other lecture rooms. "

" This accommodation is for postgrads, so it definitely isn't the most lively place to live. It has a great bedroom study space, as a very large desk is provided. The bedroom also has good storage space. The only issue is having to share a kitchen between 7 people. The main issue is there is only 1 sink, and not a lot of counter space. "

" It’s great living on campus for the first year, but you can also private rent too. Canterbury is full of rentals. Definitely recommend having a group of friend move in together. Clean and safe and also really near lectures, cinema, food and bars. "
