" The accommodation is a bit overpriced and old. The rooms are not very clean and there have been recurring issues with the hot water supply. We had to complain many times before someone fixed it. However, the houses are nicely located, as they are a bit on the outskirts of the centre of the campus. Their location makes them peaceful and gives the impression that we are not really living on campus. "

" My Brighthelm house was as clean as it could be, however because the kitchen and bathrooms had fairly old and used facilities, the place did look rather old and worn out. For example, the ovens and hobs often had issues with some hobs not working and the oven not turning on. The bathrooms had issues with water temperature - I had to shower with extremely hot water for the entire year as the issue was not solved quickly. The location was good though. I would recommend Brighthelm if you are looking for a good social experience as it is easy to socialise with neighbours, however if you are an introverted person and want a quiet place to study, I would not recommend.
