" When it comes to living expenses, I believe McMahon is a great option for students, and living here gives you an authentic experience of what it's like doming. Although it's a relatively old dorm, the people living here are mostly, if not all, pretty nice. Although the biggest downside I would say is the bathrooms (which is semi-communal), everything else, especially the location, is solid. "

" Really old dorm that most people only live in because they got unlucky during housing selection. It’s always dusty, the heater is constantly running even when it’s hot outside, and since it’s a cluster style dorm it’s noisy often "

" In this dorm, you are assigned with a roommate but you live in a cluster with other people. You share the same bathroom and the same living area. The problem is that both of those are too small as the living area isn't sufficient enough to get any relaxation. There are no kitchens inside this building and since you share space with other people, they can make a bit of a mess. The good thing about the building is that it is really close to the quad. "

" McMahon is one of the oldest dorms on campus, and the facilities reflect that. It's set up cluster style, so 4 rooms per cluster, 2 people in each room and each cluster shares a bathroom and common space. We only had 1 shower and two toilets for 8 girls, which actually turned out to be not as bad as I thought. The wifi also didn't reach everyone's rooms because of the heavy cement walls. What the building fails in in facilities it makes up for in social life and fun. I had such a good time living in Mcmahon and having 7 other roommates. I would not choose any other dorm and highly recommend living here if you want a fun freshman experience! "
