" Poplar, like everything on west campus, is very expensive. However, this is because students get (generally) large 2-person rooms with private bathrooms, as well as several floor-wide commodities, such as study rooms and a lounge with a large, flatscreen TV. It also has several conference rooms and a game room on its 1st floor (most people don't know about the game room so it's almost always empty), and it's very close to campus, which makes a huge difference when you're walking everywhere. My main issue with Poplar was that it doesn't have a kitchen on each floor, like Terry Hall. And it has a microwave on literally every floor EXCEPT the one with the kitchen, for some reason. "
