Nottingham Trent University (NTU) is a public university located in the UK city of Nottingham. The university dates back to 1843 when it opened as the Nottingham Government School of Design. It became a polytechnic in 1970, and was granted university status in 1992. It's currently one of the highest ranked UK Universities on the site.

With the motto ‘shaping futures’, NTU offers over 500 different degree programmes to around 27,000 students across three campuses (City, Clifton and Brackenhurst), overseen by nine different academic schools. A £350 million investment in recent years has led to significant developments in NTU’s estate, including the regeneration of two Grade II* listed buildings, Newton and Arkwright, which include a glazed centre court with walk-round balcony, cafes, deli-bars and student services. If you're a current or former student, why not submit a review of Nottingham Trent University and let others know about your experiences.!

" NTU Brackenhurst is a great campus for the subjects offered there. It is outside of the nearby village Southwell within the countryside so you are able to do the stuff you learn about in a practical setting such as wildlife surveys, horticulture and farm work. The campus has a brand new building that fully opened at the end of 2020. This offers a new dining area so there's more food options ans of course more study spaces. NTU itself has a lot of socities to take part in, but very few of them are based on Brackenhurst. To take part in events you would need to either drive or take the bus into city centre which is around 30-40 minutes. You can get a discounted bus pass for the academic year though. Overall, it is a great and peaceful campus that is good at what they do, but might not be your cup of tea if you want a very active night life "

" Great for traditional students, but under equipped to deal with mature students especially those with caring duties and or disabilities. There are great members of teaching staff, and equally those who are patronising to older students. I’m sure this is representative of most unis however. "

" NTU is a great uni accommodating everyone. Everything is accessible and it's easy to just spend the whole day there studying. The teaching staff are good and really support their students. It would be good to have more food options on campus, particularly when it gets later as sometimes I would stay past 5pm. "

" Good University. The city campus is in an excellent location for people wanting the city lifestyle at university. Nottingham Trent offers a lot of social activities at their SU, with many quiz, drinking and dress up themed nights. Academic Staff on Fashion Management course care for the students and are very supportive for students wanting to complete a placement. "
