 " Southern Methodist University is a small school in a very good location. It is in the heart of Dallas, so there are many job opportunities. Many business recruit directly on campus and most upperclassmen as well as most professors have industry connections. The core faculty is solid in most departments. Sometimes the adjuncts can be hit or miss, but they are rarely used to teach core classes. The campus is also really nice. It's super clean and the facilities on campus are well equipped. There are good libraries as well as good gyms. I like SMU. "

 " SMU is great for anyone looking for a fun college experience in a big city. The campus is absolutely beautiful and isn't too large (you can walk across campus within 20 minutes or so). The business school is well-known and the alumni network creates many job opportunities after school. Greek life is a large part of the school and a great way to make friends, but not mandatory for a fun experience. "

 " I study at SMU Guildhall and am constantly impressed by the facilities as well as the faculty. They work really hard to make sure that we, as students, can succeed. We also use a project-based learning curriculum. This way, when we're in front of interviewers for the industry, we can solidly point to the many projects we've worked on in terms of experiences and stories from our time here. "

 " Great school with great people! The business school has great resources available and really prepares you for real work experience. The students are nice, though Greek life is very important to a lot of people there. Beautiful campus too! "

 " The dominant culture at SMU can be difficult for students of color to navigate. The majors and areas of study are really good, and the professors (for the most part) are amazing as well. Since the class sizes are small, they're willing to work with you closely. The connections it has with the surrounding metropolis is also really clutch for recent grads. The dorms are a hit or miss, usually a miss and the dining hall food is pretty good. Social life is heavy on Greek life but it's still possible to find your own community outside of it, so no biggie. The stereotype of rich white kids driving bentleys and crashing it only to have it replaced with a maserati rings very much true here. "
