" It's a great institution and offers opportunities to older students. You have to be motivated to study and noone is holding your hand. However, there's great support from staff/tutors and great career opportunities gained from studying here. "

" The Open Uni genuinely cares about accessibility. They are so flexible and helpful. I studied with them after already completing an undergrad at Oxford and genuinely found it a preferable experience. All learning is distance learning but it's really well set up to make it as easy as possible for you to access as much as possible. "

" The OU have been mostly great although some of the tutors have been unhelpful over the years. I would recommend them though as they're very good in flexible learning especially if you're a parent or can't go to a brick uni. "

" It's great place to study, if you are working, have kids or other commitments. It is hard to do full-time studies with full-time job, however it is manageable. The tutors are great, they always try to help, and give extensions if needed. Support services are good too, can ask for advise and they will try to help as much as they can.
Would recommend, if you have patience, motivation but cannot attend university in person. "
