" Central Queensland University was my first choice in universities as it allowed me to study how I wanted (on or off campus) which allowed me to work full time hours whilst studying fulltime. With the available social aspects provided by the university, I was able to develop a study group which made my university experience that much better. The staff are very friendly and understanding which allowed students to feel comfortable asking questions. The university staff would also check in with you if they have noticed that you havent been to class to make sure you were ok with the workload, stress or general mental health. Would highly recommend Central Queensland University. "

" Central Queensland University has very good support for online distance learners. I felt very supported and found that help was very accessible when needed. Central Queensland University offers a variety of services to help support both online and campus students. Even though I am an online student from a different state, I never felt at a disadvantage and found all staff members, both academic and administrative, to be very helpful and available when needed. " CQUniversity seems to excel in certain areas (e.g. engineering & nursing) but I was still relatively happy with my study, and in the coming few years the Psychology course is getting revamped to improve the undergrad to post-grad pathway. There isn't a great deal of on-campus engagement for the student body but it is a really good uni for those wanting to study externally as classes are all recorded in my experience and a majority of my classes were actually only offered externally so there was no need to be on campus. Academic staff have always been affable and proficient, and I have found my experience even better doing Honours than undergrad. "
