 " Overall a good place to study. Academic staff was friendly, approachable, and always willing to assist. During the pandemic, JCU adapted well to online learning, ensuring that students were still able to keep up with their coursework regardless of where they are located. "

 " I've been studying at James Cook University for my postgraduate degree through their Cloud Campus. Overall, I've found it to be a well-equipped and accessible university with a lot to offer. However, I do wish all classes were recorded for cloud-based students, and that there was better access to essential study tools such as SPSS for research purposes. "

 " Great university, staff are helpful, beautiful campus, Otto's cafe is great. Townville is a nice tropical town, great weather, and no crocodiles, no jellyfish. There is student accommodation available for an affordable price. "

 " Very happy with my experience, although online I have found support when struggling, the main platforms easy to navigate, I was able to get a CSP so it helped financially. It's hasn't been easy, the study load is extreme but I think worth it. I work 2 days per week (16 hours) and couldn't do more than that around my full-time study load. "

 " The lecturers are usually responsive, but some may seem slightly under-qualified, especially when it comes to marking. It is important to maintain communication with them to make sure you know what they want from you- as each lecturer/tutor has different standards. Though, that can be tough because some do not respond to their emails. "
