 " Very strong academic and theoretical focus. On average, the professors are knowledgeable in their fields, but there is sometimes less emphasis on their teaching skills.

Long blocks of classes are common, which can be a downside.

The administration is not very flexible, and there is also limited flexibility when it comes to elective course choices. "

 " Ghent University was a great choice for me. Not only the University is student-centered, but the city as well. A lot of the classes are livestreamed or recorded, especially since covid. This makes attending classes even easier. "

 " A great university with very good professors and interesting courses. I would definitely recommend studying here! The administrative staff are also very friendly and helpful. Overall, it's a good choice, especially for international students, with plenty of classes offered in English. "
