 " Ghent University was a great choice for me. Not only the University is student-centered, but the city as well. A lot of the classes are livestreamed or recorded, especially since covid. This makes attending classes even easier. "

 " A great university with very good professors and interesting courses. I would definitely recommend studying here! The administrative staff are also very friendly and helpful. Overall, it's a good choice, especially for international students, with plenty of classes offered in English. "

 " Beautiful green university campus on the outskirts of Ghent. Home of the scientists of Ghent University. The buildings are now somewhat outdated, as the campus dates from the 1960s. But still, the campus has its charms because of the large open space between the buildings. Especially in the summer, the campus comes alive with student activities, the local neighbourhood festival Cabane Banane and people walking and picnicking.
Recently, a running track was laid out along the buildings and bushes on campus, a must for a walking tour in the area! The plans to cut down a part of the campus forest for a new student residence are a pity, because the campus will lose a part of its green tranquillity, although it is an important part of the neighbourhood.  " I'm happy to have chosen Ghent University for my studies. It is very student-oriented and friendly city. The professors definitely knew their stuff really well, and were interesting to listen too. Classes were pretty much never mandatory. Since covid, all my classes are recorded as well. "
