 " Small university - it’s more like a college experience. There are pros and cons. You can get to know profs but the social scene and amenities are limited compared to bigger school. Good for people who do better in smaller crowds and are anxious. The campus view is beautiful overlooking the ocean and mountains. "

 " VIU is a beautiful school. The faculty members work hard to support the student's needs and there seem to always be extracurricular activities going on. I highly suggest attending study groups and getting to know your profs. The smaller class sizes compared to other universities really provide the opportunity to get to know your prof and extra support from them when needed. "

 " This is a great university with smaller class sizes that allow you to connect with your peers as well as your professors! I found a deeper learning experience when classes are small and professors are accessible. Be prepared for the stairs as this location is built on a hill. There are a lot of clubs and opportunities to enrich your university experience and the sports teams are super fun to watch! "

 " Fantastic place to get a degree from! Parking is a nightmare, as it is a commuter University, and they are likely downsizing the parking lots in favour of new buildings, but if you are OK with taking the bus, then it's a great place to learn! "

 " Vancouver Island University is a wonderful university. The psychology program is excellent and the professors are wonderful and very knowledgeable people. I would recommend going here for an undergraduate degree. "
