 " Love the school! Great opportunities. The professors are actually helpful and care about you. There's always space for hands on learning and great opportunities for students to take hold of. VIU has a lot to offer students from work placement to research opportunities. Its never a dull moment at VIU with professors that genuinely care about you and your wellbeing as a student "

 " Small university - it’s more like a college experience. There are pros and cons. You can get to know profs but the social scene and amenities are limited compared to bigger school. Good for people who do better in smaller crowds and are anxious. The campus view is beautiful overlooking the ocean and mountains. "

 " VIU is a beautiful school. The faculty members work hard to support the student's needs and there seem to always be extracurricular activities going on. I highly suggest attending study groups and getting to know your profs. The smaller class sizes compared to other universities really provide the opportunity to get to know your prof and extra support from them when needed. "

 " This is a great university with smaller class sizes that allow you to connect with your peers as well as your professors! I found a deeper learning experience when classes are small and professors are accessible. Be prepared for the stairs as this location is built on a hill. There are a lot of clubs and opportunities to enrich your university experience and the sports teams are super fun to watch! "
