" McGill is an great school to attend if you want to be surrounded by a diverse and multinational student body. Overall, the McGill experience is super fun, the educational level is good, and Montreal is a wonderful and exciting place to study in. The downside is that it gets really cold, and because McGill is such a large campus, you may have to walk 15 minutes between lectures. There also always seems to be constructions on campus which can be incovenient too. "

" I would definitely recommend Mcgill! Best experience for a student who enjoys living in the city yet wants to live in campus life. The social scene is exactly as expected! There are friends for everyone and the school holds many events that may help you meet new people. There are hundreds are different programs and you are guaranteed to find one that is applicable to your interests. There are also many clubs and inter mural activities as well as career opportunities. Mcgill had many services to help you feel safe and mandatory courses before the start of the year to address mental health, sexual violence and other important topics. "

" McGill is located in a vibrant city where everyone can enjoy city life and student life. McGill also felt very international which was a huge positive for me. I really enjoyed the social environment and international friends I made. I feel like McGill focuses more on grad level education with less support for undergraduate students. I feel that as an undergraduate student at McGill, you need to take more initiative and be very on top of the internship and job search to be successful. "

" McGill University is an amazing school for anybody who will put in the effort to make it such. I'll be real, the university does NOT hold your hand -- no one is going to check up on you unless YOU take the initiative to reach out. I've had great advisors and great help (academically, personally, mental health-wise) but at McGill but YOU need to initiate and seek it out. This is a school where it's really easy to get lost in the sauce, but on the other hand, easy to excel IF you seek out/ get involved in/ take advantage of all the amazing opportunities. As an American, a lot of my friend's university experiences in the states were way more "hands-on" -- as in the staff, administration...etc. really reached out, make sure you were doing good...etc. McGill is not like this AT ALL -- the university has all the same opportunities, but it just falls to you to take the first step. I loved my experience there and 10/10 recommend it for anyone who's interested in research, awesome music/ nightlife, non-frat dominated college experience and doesn't mind the cold (lol). "
