" good experience for a small campus, honestly it is worth going to UTM if you want a quiet and study focus experience which is what I wanted. the food sucks and the faculty sometimes feels like the subs of the real profs on uoft downtown. However, the campus is beautiful and isolated, it is easy to get involved. "

" My experience at this school was overall good. All my psychology classes were very interesting and the instructors made the lectures enjoyable. The professors and TA's were also very responsive and replied back to emails or set up office hours. However, I felt that there was not enough support to assist with next steps after graduation. I don't think there were enough clubs or societies for students to join that would help in finding a career in their field of study after graduation. "

" Not a bad school, but definitely has its problems, such as a long history of racism. It’s beginning to address its problematic past, but it’s definitely not doing enough. I haven’t personally experienced it, but there is a mental health crisis on campus, so it’s something to be aware of. Most profs are genuinely nice people. I’ve only had a bad experience with a prof only once because they were not the best at actually teaching. A giant downside is that thesis programs are sparse and EXTREMELY selective, which may affect your chances for grad school. So if that’s your goal, you may be better off going somewhere where you can do an honours thesis without competing for the mere opportunity. UofT is quite a bit unwelcoming towards all internationals as well. And international tuition is sky-high, so you’re better off at McGill. "

" The fees for the international student is bit much, compared to anyother university in canada. They should consider lowering this. Even though it’s a renowned university, do not thing its worth spending this much money "
