" I had a wonderful experience at Carleton University. Campus is well maintained and frequently renovated. Professors are very knowledgeable and truly have a passion for the subjects. The only complaint I have about my experience is the course selection. Communication and Media is a degree that needs to be constantly updated to remain relevant and current. Not a single branding course was offered. I had to go to the history department and take Nation Branding as a summer elective because my own department didn't offer any courses in branding. Also, the social scene is a bit lackluster. Bars on campus are dingey and events weren't very exciting. However, maybe things would have been different if I lived on campus. "

" Good school. I like the green spaces here. The library is nice and there are many spaces to sit all over. Bad thing is that the wifi absolutely sucks. There is a FootPatrol thing here where you can have someone walk with you around campus during it's darker hours which makes me feel safer (though I normally feel unsafe everywhere I go in my life). " I am currently attending CU, and I am in a very small program. I can sincerely say that I love my program and feel somewhat like I'm a part of a family. I don't know if this is applicable to all students at Carleton, however I really didn't expect this when coming to university. Teachers always said we would simply be a number. The tunnels may flood a tad bit, and either be extremely warm or cold, but i'm a tunnel rat. The profs are generally down to earth, some classes are a bit crowded. Overall I'm happy! "

" I loved my time at Carleton. The campus was beautiful with the ever-famous tunnels that allowed you to avoid the snow and rain or the outside if you so chose. My program was semi-new when I began and they have been working to upgrade and improve the program ever since. I felt that all the professors in the Neuroscience department were always willing to help students and really enjoyed teaching, which in turn made the class better. There were many places available throughout campus and in the tunnels where you could sit and do work or hang out with friends. The clubs and societies available to join seemed endless and there was definitely a chance you would find something to join if you wanted. I was never a fan of the food choices in the University Centre but they try to listen to student's concerns and add or change options. Overall, I would recommend Carleton University. "

" The university is a pretty good institution, I like all the classes, etc. I mainly attend the Panda football game and many women. The business area of study is lacking in comparison to the University of Ottawa. However, I believe that it isn't too bad. I have no problem with the campus facilities or any of the staff members (academic, administrative, etc.). "
