" I attend Dalhousie because its the only school in the area that offer my program. Its an excellent school for sciences, classrooms and academic buildings are sometimes very old and dilapidated because all of the funding goes to the sports facilities. They have excellent academic support for students like career and degree planning. The biggest barrier for me at Dalhousie is accessibility, they often make it very difficult to access accommodations, or don't offer the ones I need at all. Professors themselves usually try their best to be accommodating and work with students, which I really appreciate. "

" It was pretty good, the area is expensive though which makes life stressful for the typical university student. Classes were alright, the transition to online was rough and could've been handled much better. The tuition gets more expensive each year with no real noticible change in quality, so soon it will end up being too expensive to attend, but for now it's good for what you pay. "

" It’s okay but I could have gotten the same degree at a different university for cheaper and it would have been less difficult than it is now. Too much variation in teaching styles within a single course oftentimes leaving people confused and have to re-learn halfway through the semester. "

" Great university in the heart of the city. The centralized location in the city makes it difficult to find parking, however. Plenty of opportunity for hands-on learning, despite the size of the institution. "

" Good mid-size school with high quality teaching staff. The experience is what you make of it. Attend classes, speak with professors, and ask questions to get the best out of your education. Facilities are adequate and improving for more student working areas. Great student body and people to meet. The city is also great, and a nice size if looking for a smaller city experience. "
