" I love York. For such a big campus, it has a very tight-knit community. The administration has its problems sometimes, but overall, I find that York cares about the mental health of its students. There are a lot of opportunities for work-study positions too! It's connected directly to the subway line, and it has its own shopping mall. As someone who wants to go to graduate school, York has been very helpful in preparing me by hosting workshops every semester on what the process is like. "

" It was a great experience overall. The courses were engaging and interesting, and the staff was very helpful. I loved the student cafeteria with all of the food choices and a great number of social clubs you could participate in and join. "

" Not a bad university overall but was a fairly uninspiring experience for me the reason being mainly that I found a lot of classes far too easy, and professors often too unreasonable in their demands of flexibiility to student needs. It's a place of learning but a lot of the learning is done outside of the classroom, not sure if i really stand by any academic institution in particular as such i'm unsure if any of these criticisms really belong to york alone "

" I was happy with my time at York, although it was a bit of a rough transition into online school when COVID began. Overall, though, I found the many clubs and administrative staff to be incredibly helpful, and many of the courses I took were quite interesting and engaging. "

" I'm currently taking UX Design Certificate for Continuing Studies and so far so good. The instructors are very experienced and have deep knowledge of the courses they are teaching. If there is something they can improve on is to provide a zoom session on Orientation day for Continuing Studies courses. I think a lot of students are confused on the way the course works because there was no orientation and the 1st instructor dived to the course right away on the 1st day. "
