 " The level of difficulty depends on Faculty and professors. You really gotta work hard and not expect good marks just because people say it's an easy school which is definitely not. Overall, the social life is great. You meet people from all over the world and the camaraderie even extends on social media platforms. "

 " York University has been a positive experience overall. The marketing program offers a good balance of theory and practical application, and most of my professors have been knowledgeable and supportive. There are plenty of opportunities to get involved on campus, and the community is diverse and welcoming. Like any large university, some classes can feel crowded. "

 " Overall, campus doesn't look nice from outside but indoors is fine. Nothing special but nothing majorly wrong either. Don't recommend buying any transit passes since there are at least 3 separate transit services on campus. "

 " My first year professors were all very understanding and nice. I like how flexible the degree structure is - I know that at some other universities you have to stick to a certain format (ex. one major and one minor or one specialization and one minor, etc.). "

 " I love York. For such a big campus, it has a very tight-knit community. The administration has its problems sometimes, but overall, I find that York cares about the mental health of its students. There are a lot of opportunities for work-study positions too! It's connected directly to the subway line, and it has its own shopping mall. As someone who wants to go to graduate school, York has been very helpful in preparing me by hosting workshops every semester on what the process is like. "
