" Great program and school. Moved from different province for the program and am happy I did. I have learned a lot from my cohort and professors. Campus is very spaced out but all my classes are in same building. Great support from professors "

" I loved my experience at UWO. MIT is a one of a kind program in Canada and unparallel to other communications programs offered elsewhere. I had a well rounded experience at Western, from sports to academics. I had the opportunity to take very kind of class outside of my program that interested me and the academics are held to a high standard. It is very social university (its reputation is well deserved) and the school has a lot to offer. As an added bonus UWO has a very beautiful campus. "

" Took courses from different departments and found instructors to be truly caring. Some of the cool clubs were expensive but they were available; my lack of a job in my field is because I discovered what my true passion was and ended pursuing something different (yes, I got a job in that new field). Great for introverts and extroverts alike (everyone kind of turns into an extrovert by the end of the first week’s special events). "

" The best part about Western is definitely the social culture but that's also the worst part. While it is really easy to make friends and go to a lot of parties (hence the rep), it's also scary as a female student to think about the amount of cases of GBV and SA we have here. "

" Western is certainly a research heavy school, meaning the professors are researchers first and teachers second. Many of my first courses had over 400 students and were taught by professors with difficult to understand accents. Upper year courses are far superior in content, professors, grading, and sizes. The facilities are constantly being improved, but some residences are due for some upkeep. The gym is always busy, but is very well equipped. Party scene is second to none, and bars are great! "
