" My program is really great. All of our profs are either currently working in the industry or have before becoming full-time professors. If you really care about the social aspect of University then Capilano might not be for you. I found it frustrating that we have to pay for the compass card in our tuition and were not able to opt-out. The parking is fairly pricy and if you don't get to campus before 8:30 you most likely will not get a spot. "

" Pretty good university to go into. Teachers there are passionate about their jobs and genuinely care for their students. The courses there aren't too bad, with the theater, animation, and design programs being the most well known programs. Only downside is that the campus is hard to get to, with roads being limited and traffic jams often occurring (When it rains, traffic can get stuck for about 2-3 hours) "

" I loved every instructor I had at Capilano. I was hesitant to go here before I transferred to UBC Science, but it was a great transition. I was out of school for 4 years, and dove into science. It was a great stepping stone with the small class sizes. I was able to get to know each instructor personally and they were always available or questions or simply conversation. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at CapU, and it's too bad it has sortof a bad reputation. The staff make this school amazing. It needs more funding I'd think so it can employ more people and create more bachelor degrees (like for science). I believe they are actually now offering a BSc there, which is awesome! I never went to the gym- but from what I saw from the outside its not huge but it's got everything you need. "

" I would recommend this university to a friend as admin staff is helpful, choices of programs are numerous (particularly in undergrad level, not so much in postgrad level) and campus is very beautiful given its surrounding with nature in wild landscapes of North Vancouver (fresh air with smell of greenery, tall trees etc.) "

" A nice university that is perfect to transition straight out of high school from. Also good if you want to attend school close to home if you live in North or West Vancouver. Not the most updated campus but it is still quite nice overall. Teaching staff can be hit or miss but that's a given at university. Nice and small class sizes are a big draw here! "
