 " Good size campus. There are lots of opportunities for students, you just have to know where to find them (which in this case, I would say Uvic needs to have more advertisements about the types of opportunities they offer) "

 " This school is extremely unprofessional and it is an embarrassment to hold a degree from this university. Other than 2 professors over my 4 years, all other staff members were disrespectful and many were even blatantly racist. The staff are unable to own up to their mistakes and are willing to ruin someone's future since they hold that power.  I would HIGHLY advise you not to study at this university, you will be wasting money, time, and sanity. I've seen more professionalism from my local middle school. "

 " Didn’t think I’d like victoria but I love it here. Things happening every weekend you just have to put yourself out there. Everyone is super nice. Profs are a mixed bag I’ve had amazing profs and some that were not so great. Campus is beautiful. Food is terrible though and overpriced you can legit order doordash for actual food for the same price. "

 " Wonderful school, and overall gets better and better. Beautiful campus with a supportive teaching and academic staff always willing to help. Everything is very accessible and pretty easy to find and navigate. "Ring Road" creates a wonderful atmosphere, and residence first year was manageable. The only downside is off-campus housing, as the University itself is unable to provide a lot of housing to even all first-year students, which creates a bit of a divide and creates problems for current and future students.  " Great school, with good academics and great social scene. The food options are good, library gets full sometimes but usually can find a spot. I would suggest going here if you want work in BC, there are many public service jobs in Victoria and some small to medium sized businesses. Coops can’t be hard for some to find but if you have a good resume you are good! "
