" A good place to learn with high workload and plenty of hands-on experience. There are plenty of social and student clubs to choose from. I prefer more artistic clubs as an engineering student, so I've taken interest in the art club and the writing club. The system tends to be pretty bureaucratic when it comes to paperwork. There are plenty of faculties at Cairo University and within these faculties there are plenty of departments. Campuses are spread throughout Greater Cairo with expansions in newer cities such as Sheikh Zayed. "

" The whole experience is good, and every thing you need makes it through seamlessly except for paper work takes ages. Students there are friendly they would help you if you need anything. There us pingpong tables and a wonderful pitch for any kind of sports and it is all cheap to afford "

" It is exactly how I expected it to be. Campus Facilities may need some improvement. Regardless, compared to other universities in Egypt, this one is the best academic wise (in medicine) Everyone is very helpful from professors to janitors. And all teasing aside, the amount of respect and support you get is immeasurable. Everyone here understands how hard you’ve worked to reach your place in this university and how you’ll still work way harder to keep your place and shine in it. Here they raise human doctors and not just machines who can offer medical assistance. "

" Disclaimer: your experience in Cairo University will mainly depend on your major. As a Mass Communication student I can say that I'm somewhat satisfied with the quality of content that I study there. However, that doesn't mean that it can still be improved, it could use more diversity, sometimes you can find yourself studying almost the same subject twice but under different names. The campus has poor facilities, WIFI won't be available unless you're in a library, and your food options are okay. It's not a stressful environment, you won't be overwhelmed with the amount of work you have to do, you can even have a side job if you want to, and if you're concerned about its community and the type of people there, they're mostly friendly and helpful. Overall the experience can be considered fair, it's not great, it's not that bad, it's just fair. You can find a better experience in a private school but educational content wise, it's the same. "
