" It changed my personality due its liberal arts curriculum. Best university in Egypt. I had my Bachelor degree as well as my MA program there. It has great networking. The Egyptian market highly respect this educational institution. Besides my IMC major, I had the opportunity to take 3 minors; business, political science and Arabic Literature.
It changed my life and career perception "

" It is a prestigious university, although it can be a little expensive. The university has many influential professors and strong academic staff. However, it could improve by listening more closely to the student body and taking student concerns more seriously when issues arise. "

" I would recommend attending AUC if you're thinking of a semester abroad to Egypt or if you're already living in Egypt. It has an amazing sports facilities and teams, you get to compete both nationally and internationally. Additionally, the social scene is great, the clubs, student union, and the campus facilities all aim to make the college experience as fun as possible. "

" As a graduate international student, I spent most of my time on campus in class. Therefore, it is difficult to rate extracurriculars. As far as classes go they were decent and had 5-15 students. There are two main professors in the department, but occasionally you get the opportunity to have a different professor. "

" While the school bills itself as an American University, it is still a very Egyptian experience, and there can be some culture shock for Americans expecting a clean transfer. Generally, the quality of professors is quite high, and there are many experts in their field employed at the university. Similarly, the quality of extracurricular opportunities, speakers, study abroad programs, and other incidentals is quite high. However, certain support departments of the university can be slow to respond, filled with bureaucratic delays and run-arounds, and it can be a struggle to complete certain things in a timely fashion. For what it is, it was a great time, but I think prospective international students need to be open-minded about the cultural differences between their home country and Egypt. Experienced travellers may find it more easy to adjust to the new environment, because institutional support can be lacking. "
