" I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the TU Chemnitz. Although the city sometimes wasn't as vibrant as you'd want as a student, my general experience there was great. The university was well-organized, had a solid cafeteria and a truly amazing large lecture hall. I studied a social science even though it is a technical university so I can't really speak to the STEM departments. "

" Chemnitz University of Technology is quite a small university. You don't get the anonymity big universities offer, but at the same time, that's also one of the advantages. Professors get to know you, they care, and they will help you get through your studies. The university also offers coaching and support programs for students. We have a great new cafeteria with at least one vegan and multiple vegetarian options a day. Chemnitz is also a very affordable city for students to live in. It can be hard to find something to do in the city, and the nightlife is a bit dry most of the time, but I'd say - your time will be what you make of it. Dresden and Leipzig are only 1 hour away. "
