 " Very good lecturers and academic advisors. Very attentive to students. Lecturers often ask for our feedback regarding the lectures and try to act according to our answers. The materials are challenging and difficult, yet they are explained in  manner that the majority of students understand them. "

 " I enjoy studying here. The academic staff is great. I was able to find a lot of friends and older students are engaged to get you into the community.
The module shedule for the Bachelor in Biology is not very flexible (you can only elect in the las two semesters and have to be lucky to get in the limited courses).
You get a great general overview in the first 4 semesters (so its great if you don't know which field of biology you want to choose).
The builidings (mainly zoology campus) are in a bad shape and constanly under construction. "

 " I think many students study in Hamburg because of the city, less because of the university. From what I know, it does not really have a good reputation. I was satisfied with my studies anyway, but the strong anonymity bothered me. "

 " Very large campus, better bring your bicycle! The city itself is very large, be sure that you like this. The rent ist pricey as well.
The students offer a big left wing social club scene. There are lots of workshops/ lectures for guests/ other possibilities to learn about nearly any topic possible, most are for free. "

 " I would have liked a greater variety of topics and study areas.  Sometimes it felt that the professors wanted to reproduce knowledge through students, rather than motive students to think on their own or develop a unique way of conducting matters. "
