" Since my bachelor´s programme effectively includes two totally separate subjects, my experience with organizational matters varies quite significantly. The faculty for social sciences, which includes my subject of English, is noticeably overrun with too many students. This is recognizable by the fact that there is a frequent struggle to get into mandatory courses; all available spots for seminars are usually taken in the blink of an eye. Things are noticeably better and smoother around the faculty of natural sciences. Regardless of the faculty, all of the academic staff are highly competent.
One strength of the university is the large array of sports activities you can select from, something which is usually less emphasized in Germany. Additionally, living in Paderborn is fairly cheap compared to other cities in Western Germany.
If you are looking for city to party in 24/7 or greatly value the night scene, Paderborn however may not be the right place to be. "

" Great campus uni, which is generally underrated. Near to a technology park, which offers lots of jobs in small-medium sized startups and companies! Also super nice for international students, as the support and care they experience is superb. "

" Overall great campus university which is also very underrated due to the small size of the city. Especially attractive for international students due to the close support and care they experience here on campus. "
