" The Campus looks atrocious at first sight, but I have grown to appreciate more. The same with the food options which are limited. Since Campus Vaihingen is somewhat geographically isolated, there are not many food options to opt for during breaks except the cafetaria and the small supermarket. Other than that, the academic staff was good; nothing significant worth to mention, just overall good. My course is called media computer science which is essentially computer science and has really little to do with actual media such as media creation, media management etc. "

" The university and my lab provide me with good facilities for my study. They also offer German language courses for international students. Administrative staff are always willing to helping.
The campus in Vaihingen is very nice, with a beautiful forest and a lake nearby. You can go hiking, biking there with friends after study and work. It's super relaxing! "

" Overall I do recommend the University of Stuttgart. Campus Stadtmitte is nicely located in the city centre of Stuttgart and provides a few parks in its closer area which is great. However, you don't really get the feeling of being at a university sometimes, since there are severeal buildings spread around without being connected through campus. So far, my professors have all been competent, fair and generally enjoyable. Parking and the availability of sport facilities is really bad at Campus Stadtmitte, however it's close to the central train station, which is nice. "

" Studying at Stuttgart University has been a good experience so far. Although there is an obvious major focus on natural and engineering sciences in terms of staff and facilities, social sciences are still well represented. Stuttgart is quite a nice city to live in with a lot to discover, though it has rather high living costs. "
