" The teachers are great, very kind and supportive. They take the time to guide you through the final thesis, and the classes are genuinely interesting. It's also a plus that assessments aren't limited to written exams at the end of the semester. The overall preparation for the final thesis is excellent. I never felt lost or unprepared at any stage. " This school is run like a business: you pay for the degree, you get the degree. Professors and other administrative support are rarely available for assistance, and are often not punctual or clear. Very smart people as teachers, just not always hands on or attentive to their students. "

" It’s a great university with interesting professors. I love my international colleagues and I would definitely recommend it! It does cost money and you cannot partake in social activities due to the pandemic. This doesn’t stop the university to make us feel included in every update. "

" Being that it is a small school, you can make great friends and do a lot of networking. But the school itself is so expensive for mediocre professors/teachers. This is a private school in Germany, therefore students have to pay to attend, yet they do not do anything else to help us. For example, a lot of students attend this uni from other countries and do not know German, yet there is only one German class offered each semester and it only teaches A1, and does not advance from there. Another example is a fellow classmate has an online class that is in person in the Berlin campus, but HMKW just notified them that they need to go to Berlin to take the final and would not reimburse them for any travel costs. This kind of information was not communicated before the selection of this course and is now being told (it is currently the end of the semester). Last example is how we do not get ANY information about the masters thesis until it is the end of the third semester before the thesis semester. Many of us have communicated to the uni to ask for more information since the beginning of our studies, yet they have dismissed us all the time. Finally during this semester someone told us that WE need to ask for a masters thesis information session, and it was still too early it, but as an exception they will give us a session (since we have been persistant on trying to get information about the MASTERS THESIS). This is only three examples out of many. For a final note, their teaching is terrible, obviously not all but definitely 95% of their teachers really cannot teach. I do not recomend this university to anyone. "
