" Many students in Regensburg think the buildings of the university are ugly and old. I think it has a certain charme :)
Other than that, I recommend studying in Regensburg. The city as a whole is great, not too big, but it has everything you need, and there's a great cultural scene (lots of bars ;) ).
Some organisational and logistic matters at the university are handled in a complicated way, which can be annoying sometimes, but if you aren't shy and just ask, you'll find your way around. "
