" Problems such as old facilities, old and outdated laboratory equipment and of course a whole generation of Professors with no intention on teaching and with complete disconnection from the non academic world are some problems which can not and should not be overlooked. "

" This is the third oldest university of the country. It could be better. One of the good things is the university library. It has a massive collection of mathematics books. The mathematics department was good, my overall experience was good but it could have been better. It'd be nice if there were more funds for research and if professors did hunt european and international programs to fund their phd students. It'd be also nice if the fields inside the math department weren't separate and collaborated. But I understand that each researcher cares for his field mostly. It has a very good active research hub for Machine learning and AI, and there are two very big names there in that field. Also, computational geometry is an actively researched field there, and so is optimization and interval analysis. I don't regret going there, it was a very good experience, and I miss those years dearly. I've learned a lot, and it has boosted my professional career. "
