 " Great people, great environment. Very flexible in terms of classes, clubs and social events. The mass mail system is kind of annoying at first, but you could check off the ones you're uninterested in and they will stop sending it to you so it's all good. Overall, it is a place where you can easily find your own rhythm and community. "

 " As an international student, it has been quite hard to adjust to school and get different opportunities because of not being able to speak Cantonese. With current political situations, HKU might be a less attractive option for international students. "

 " Easy to travel to and have different restaurants, car parking is not enough, student service is great. The view is fantastic as well since its located on a hill. Highly recommend you to walk along the Lung Fu Shan Trail, you can see it as a hiking exercise to relax. You can even go to the Peak, one of the famous tourist visiting spot starting from this trail. Do not forget to visit the heritage along the trail and on the campus, the thing you just can not miss in this oldest university in Hong Kong "

 " overall a pleasant experience studying here, people generally friendly. however the quality of the classes can vary depending on the module/topic and the professor. The content can be length and difficult. "

 " It's a really nice university in a great city. The faculty members in the psychology department are approachable, productive and friendly. They are pretty good at teaching and offer high quality research training. The university campus is also really beautiful, really modern-looking. Has a great view of the city center. Students are generally also friendly and it's quite easy to make friends - lots of clubs/societies to join if you're interested in that. There are a few gyms at HKU but they don't have that much equipment. "
