 " My biggest complaint is the academic staff. In one of the incidents, our teacher decided to skip a topic because it was about sexual disorders and she was "not comfortable" teaching that. Another incident, a teacher graded a student low on an exam because the student did not attend classes (the student's performance on the exam was excellent). The teachers cannot separate the personal from the professional and that is a huge issue. Plus, there is not a lot of practical knowledge that you gain. "

 " Thapar will offer you a pretty good college experience, if you're willing to try out new things, put yourself out there, and youre willing to make the best out of what you're given.
The opportunities that you'll get are not lacking in anyway either. If you're an ambitious student and you show interest in joining a research project, you'll easily be able to become a part of it, provided you have the required skills. "

 " Amazing university, brilliant placements, great campus culture and atmosphere, some problematic students and faculty (normal like everywhere else), state of the art facilities. I regret dropping out and moving to a govt college. "

 " Best in punjab. If u have good money u can study otherwise save ur bucks. Good societies, good food. But if you can go for it, why not!!! "
