 " The best 4 years of my life. 4 years of learnings, friendships, and fun. Picturesque and green campus, nestled between the forests of western ghats and sea beaches of India.

 " I really like my college. The assignments get to you sometimes but overall the experience would be awesome and it would open a lot more opportunities.
If you are a person who is social, loves to party, not very studious but gets good grade and love to try out new things and have the freedom to do it, MIC is the college for it "

 " Nice college for engineering , exciting clubs, helpful faculty , great exposure large campus with variety of activities . One should definitely keep this college as a top option for engineering. Hostel life is fun and adds a lot to the overall experience. "

 " I would recommend Manipal if you are not super serious about your education. The place has an amazing vibe, you never feel like leaving and you make friends that'll last a lifetime.

However, the academic and administrative staff are downright horrible. Not only will they not help you in any aspect, be it studies or official work, but they will make it a point to ruin your life.

Eg 1. I asked a professor of mine to excuse my attendance for one day for a 1 credit subject in my final year as I had to travel to attend my grandfather's funeral and I had already missed 3 out of 12 classes (we are allowed 75% attendance, but if the teacher gives permission, they allow 65% attendance) due to the placement process. She said to me, verbatim, that 'What will you do with a placement if I fail you right now and you are here again next year?'

Eg 2. I asked my HOD to sign a document for an internship abroad during my summer break that stated that I will be an enrolled student in the university when the internship was supposed to start. She said to me, 'I will not sign the letter as we don't know for sure whether you will pass or fail this semester. In case you fail, you will have to stay back during the summer to repeat your exams and you will not be able to go for the internship.' Nothing in my transcripts suggested that I might fail. She was just looking for an excuse to not allow me to pursue the internship. "
