" The course I'm currently enrolled in is a really fascinating one that I thoroughly enjoy however you have to be prepared to the work yourself and figure all of your own stuff out such as due dates for assignments, what level of work you need to do in order to get good grades etc. the professors are there purely to show the basic information and it's up to you then to do more. " Trinity is great academically, the quality of course content is very high while a very generous amount of leeway given on deadlines, attendance, and other continuous aspects of grading. If going here its advisable to apply yourself as much as possible in the first year and a half to have a good chance at making the scholarship exam, as this can be a very big windfall for the successful applicant. Socially, trinity requires hard effort to find a good social niche in. If going here, try to cast your net wide and consistently try to join different societies, attend events, and go out, or it will quickly feel isolating, and also harder to network. Don't feel disheartened if you don't get anywhere at first, or feel as if you're just too busy, success comes if you keep trying on some consistent basis. As the center of Dublin is very expensive to eat and drink in this can make Trinity quite costly. It's a good idea to learn how to pack lunches and prepare meals at home consistently to avoid this being a problem, as the expense of getting lunches, dinner, and going for drinks throughout a week can quite easily top 150 euros a week in my experience, likely more now. Overall I'd recommend Trinity, but it isn't necessarily affordable and getting involved in the social scene can be a challenge so if those are problems for you then there are other universities in Dublin that would give you a better college experience. " Just completed my first week in the uni - great buzz around campus despite COVID. Only problem is the infamous Academic Registry who are notoriously slow at replying. Being an Irish student living in Dublin, Trinity College Dublin is by far the easiest to access (one direct bus rather than two like UCD or DCU) and has the most notable alumni "

" Some pros: great location, stunning campus and friendly students. Some cons: expensive cost of living and my specific course didn't offer a lot of freedom to choose modules. Would still recommend, uni is what you make of it! "

" Great University! I did my studies there during the Covid pandemic which means that all my classes were online and I sadly didn't get many classes in person. However while my experience was a little underwhelming it wasn't the university's fault and they did their best to make the experience as good as possible to the best of their abilities. The classes were interesting, even online. One thing to be taken into account before choosing this university however is the price of the rent that is way higher than what I expected. "
