" In terms of student and campus life, trinity is unrivalled. There is a real feeling that you belong to the university as soon as you join. The lecturers also tend to be incredible resources and are so good at what they do. The one thing that is really not up to standard in Trinity is the administration. Time and again, the Academic Registry have proven how incompetent they are and I am completely staggered by how poorly they can do their jobs and still get away with it. Trinity has slipped down the world rankings significantly over the past few years because of this, in my opinion. However, all in all, trinity is an amazing place to study and I would recommend it to anyone who asks about it! "

" Would definitely recommend Trinity to anyone thinking of going. Gives off maybe a stuck up vibe, but it's a lovely place to go to college and I would go back in a heartbeat. Great staff at the forefront of their fields, central locations, amazing supports and social scene. I had such an amazing time here. The only thing I would say is that on-campus accommodation i is expensive as is living in the city. "

" Recent changes in academic structure have effectively ruined everything that was once good about Trinity. Clubs and societies used to be the highlight of student life, but due to a drastic increase in workload and pressure placed on students, our ability to engage with societies is pretty much gone. The support services which do exist are good and doing as much as they can within their very limited means, but they are horrifically underfunded and, as such, understaffed (for example, there is only one psychiatrist at the Health Centre - abysmal, given the student body of 17,000 students). The admin is quite possibly the most incompetent establishment I ever have or ever will come across, and any Trinity student you could ask would echo that. Don't come here, it's not worth the cost of having to survive in Dublin and the stress you'll suffer under Trinity admin. "

" Very enjoyable course with fascinating course material. The lecturers are engaging and interactive, which makes for very interesting lectures. I am disappointed about the administrative side of things-more work needs to be done in this area e.g exam timetables and class schedules being published in good time. "

" I'm studying Law. It's a tough course and took time for me to settle into it and realise I made the right choice! It requires a logical mind and independent thought. Career wise there are plenty of options available to me. I wont be restricted to just going into practice as a solicitor or barrister. The libraries are excellent and there is loads of study space. My one criticism of the libraries were that the opening hours could be better, especially at exam time. I'm from Dublin so I lived at home during my first 2 years in college. This is maybe my only regret for not going to college in NUIG (which I seriously considered at the time). But I had friends living in student accommodation and I spent loads of time there. In my opinion its the best place to socialise and meet other first years. There is a huge variety of clubs and societies. And it's another great way of meeting people in first year. I'm an active member of the Law Society. There are loads of events to attend throughout the year. I wouldn't exactly be the most 'sporty' of people but from from what I see and hear around campus the sports facilities you will get at Trinity is as good as any other college in Ireland! "
