" It's disheartening to see how this university treats its best lecturers. Many high-performing educators-beloved by students for their dedication and teaching excellence-are being forced out due to unfair KPIs that prioritize revenue over education. Instead of rewarding inspiring teaching, the administration imposes unrealistic financial targets (grants, student quotas) while ignoring student feedback and academic impact. This profit-driven approach is destroying morale and undermining the university's credibility. Until UTAR starts valuing real teaching quality over money, I cannot recommend this institution to students or educators who care about genuine learning. "

" Good and I would recommend to prospective students. But the uni is not including hostel for students. You may look at the nearby area. There is a lots of room for rent. Moreover, public and university bus service is available for students around the uni area to MRT stations or Bus Station "

" Quite a good University. The experience a student would expect to get is quite a challenging one. Be ready to get bombarded with tons of assignment throughout your trimester. Make sure to stay ahead of schedule and plan out your trimesters ahead of time if possible. Majority of the students here are quite focus on studying, it is easy to find a number of hard working students to work together. Although there are many who are hard working, be wary for the few who are not willing to put effort in group assignments and such. "

" Room to improve. They do provide the academic materials that they have but it not really as what expected. Variety of subjects offered but I think there should be more briefing before students choose their elective. Certain academic staff shows the quality as promised, but some are knowledgeable but not good enough in teaching and assisting the students. Facilities, WiFi is always an issue where we can barely connect using our own devices. I'm disappointed the choice of food around the campus is very limited. Lastly, the point of having student representative but not responding well to their voices is very questionable. However, I can say it is the best quality that you can get from an affordable private institution. "

" The Kampar is a small town and suitable for students to study. There are not much distractions. UTAR Kampar campus has a very good surrounding with lake scene. Library also very conducive. I met from many friends throughout 3 years degree. Food options not that diverse and quite limited. Most students go out of campus to eat their meals. Transportation to university quite convenient as there are buses provided. Grab services also very helpful. "
