HAN University of Applied Sciences - Ratings, Reviews & Ranking

" I have find my time in the HAN quite enjoyable at times however there are things I believe that can be better improve such as the administration. Specially if you are an international student I think they need to guide them better on how does the Dutch system works. Truly understand we live in the Netherlands but as an international campus at least they can do is to have the receptionist to speak english. I have found many problem with attitudes with the staff when they have to switch to english with the students. Furthermore I would like to compliment my teacher of communication they have been trying their best to teach such a interesting courses. I feel they have work is overload because apart from teaching classes dealing with different student from different years and needs. They have to manage student doing their thesis sometimes enough time hasn't been giving to them because of this work overload the teachers suffer. "

" The staff and Professor were very helpful and nice. Lots of active events and you will get a chance to meet lots of people from different countries and nationalities. However, personally, I think that courses do not have a high application in my working fields. But really good environment to spend your Uni time. "

" - Great environment for international students., although some teachers and students still speak Dutch during class and there's some with mild discriminating/ stereotyping attitude. - The majority of Academic staff are friendly, attentive and dedicated - However, this is not exactly the best place for high achievers. You won't be able to find a big community with like-minded people or supporting materials/ opportunities. "

" The HAN University of Applied science has been a univeristy where I have had very good classes from people in the field. In addition, we were able to do a lot of pratical assignments in the Food & Business programme. These projects helped connect the theory we learned in class with real industry situations. "

" I am having an interesting course in communication. Nice location and inexpensive living cost in Arnhem. Some time you will feel boring but you could easily catch train to other cities. The university has a lot of professional lecturers. They are willing to support you. In general, the exams are not really easy. You need to study hard if want to get high score. Its not easy to find internship during your study time but after graduation, you could be confident with skills you learned from the uni. "
