" I am fairly satisfied with SIT and would recommend to others. SIT Invercargill Campus offer SIT Zero Fee Scheme to the domestic students, which is absolutely brilliant scheme as you do not have to worry about paying the hefty students’ loans. Students all over the NZ come to study here and also get the advantage of the Southlands lower living expenses and enjoys the peaceful environment.
In terms of the campus services and facilities, there are range of facilities to help students. For example, (1) SIT offer free access to studiosity that provide 24/7 support in the context of academic writing and references. (2) SIT Invercargill offer free gym memberships to their students and one year cost is just $150 (from Feb to Nov). (3) At SIT IVC library, you get free justice of peace service usually each Wednesday. (4) The campus offers free health/wellbeing services to meet the emotional, spiritual, and physical needs of students. Students could get free appointments with the nurses at the main campus health centre.
Furthermore, The campus library is the great place to study alone or with your peers. Library staff is friendly and very helpful, they got abundance of books and E-books and multiple online databases to boost your knowledge.
Nevertheless, SIT is a great educational institution who truly support the multi-cultural backgrounds and take thorough interest in the wellbeing and growth of their students "

" Small campus, but really good environment. Very self directed so the tutors have a lot of free time to help out with anything. All the tutors are professionals in their field and very experienced. I'm almost finished and it's been a fantastic opportunity to learn my field thoroughly and they've provided great hands-on experience. "

" The institute generally had a positive feedback from students all over the country. It is self funded as far as ive understood which separates itself from the rest of the Polytechnic Institutes within the Southland region. Making it the only profitable institute compared to the rest. It has been managed above average but could still use some improvements. Facilities are more or less favorable with core facilities for labs and projects taught within the class. Accommodation for the international students could use some improvement too. Overall i do love this school and it makes it all the more interesting to travel the rest of the country in all its natural glory. 10/10!! IMO "
