" Overall it’s a good university, it has issues the same as any other. An area it could improve in is support and activities for postgrad students. The campus itself is very nice, with lots of places to study and relax. "

" A greedy corporation running an institute that thrives off giving students excessively hard/long exams. A stark contrast to the previous year's papers, which, in lockdown, puts students out of the frying pan and into the fire. Depreciated communication, tutors do most of the work, and students are more prone to mental illness such as depression and anxiety. Issuing more difficult papers in such a trying time is, in my opinion, bordering sadism, as a means to deviate the student base to failure, and thus raking in more enrolment revenue from those failures. " My university experience here was quite average. The campus buildings are spread over an area in the CBD which I thought diluted the the campus culture. It is a small university compared to other global institutions and lacks some facilities on my campus. "

" Great compsci facilities, poor compsci teaching quality. Amazing stats department staff and facilities, but poor facilities in general for undergrad students. No common areas with microwaves and you can't study past midnight anywhere on campus, or if you can it's not widely advertised. "

" As a current student here I love the University of Auckland, the city campus is great and there are many great study spots, OGGB and the IC labs being my personal favorites. The professors I have had under Law have all been very passionate, helpful and approachable. This is definitely not a party/social university though. "
