" Overall a fantastic uni, to my knowledge the best looking campus in NZ. The main downsides would be the cold weather in winter and shoddy apartments. However given the cheap cost of accommodation (cheap compared to auckland, at least), I would still rate the living situation highly for NZ. The social scene is great, with the octogon buzzing at night and a decent amount of good music. The staff has been a mixed bag for me in comp sci, but the course itself is high quality, if a little difficult at times. I have few complaints, and would gladly recommend it to anyone :)
P.s, Sushi Station, right next to uni, does the best ramen in town. Enjoy "

" The Univesity of Otago is a cozy and picturesque campus in a small city that may appeal to students from a more rural background. It helped fund a large nearby facility called Forsyth Barr Stadium which has great fitness and gym facilities that are free to students. The teachers are all friendly and casual professionals who have been picked from all over the world to come and teach. "
